im sure you could find great prices on line but then you have to pay shipping costs and depending on who you buy from and were they live….you cold be paying more then you need…you dont have to buy the most expensice ones from the stores either…the cheaper ones do the job just as good…….
walmart would probably be your best bet…good luck

I got a Parent’s Choice one from Wal-Mart for $50. It works great and I am happy with it. Or try Sam’s Club. They sometimes have some cheap ones, too.

never buy a car seat used! you never know if they’ve been in a car accident before.
Believe it or not, I just had unbelieveable luck on Amazon.com for 2 carseats. They’re sold out, but they should be in within a month. It was like 35% off. Even after shipping it’s the best prices I’ve seen on good carseats
I ordered 2 of the Cosco High Back Booster Car Seat, Jacob for like $46. Great price considering I have a similar Cosco that I spent over $100 on.

I went to a local thrift store and bought one for $10.00. Try Goodwill and Salvation Army thrift store in your area. Sometimes churches have thrift stores, too.
Also, if you are really in a tight spot and can’t really afford on try calling your local department of heath and human services.
Ask for the phone number to the local WIC office.
Call the WIC office, they can usually help refer you to a place where you can get one for free.

Don’t skimp on quality. Remember that your child’s life is at stake here. Shop around for a high quality car seat. Do some research on the Internet and in "Shoppers Guide". Then look for a quality built seat at stores like "Walmart". However, don’t jeopardize safety to save money.

I got mine on amazon.com. This is one item I would not skimp on. I bought one at Walmart and ended up buying another on amazon.com later because I was not happy with the safety. Be sure to get one with a high back – the low backed ones are worthless.

Walmart! But don’t buy ur kid a cheap one make sure the cushion is soft. Put ur hand on the cushion, imagine if u had to sit on something hard. It’s only about 40.00 plus tax for a cushy one.

I would try Wal-Mart if you want a brand new one. If you try e-Bay, Craig’s List or want to get one used be sure to ask if the car seat has ever been involved in an automobile accident. Any car seat I have ever purchased stated in the owner manual that if the car seat is ever involved in an automobile accident it should be replaced. I don’t know the reasoning behind this, but it’s better to be safe then sorry. You might also want to check local hospitals or family planning services in your area. They might be able to get you in touch with a group that can get you a car seat for free. Hope this helps.
